READ THE FOLLOWING STORY FROM A HOLIDAY DIARY.....
Today, I decided to go exploring. First of all, I went into town to look round the shops. The town was very busy and there were lots of tourists walking about taking photographs of statues and buildings.
After a while, I went down to the beach. Many sunbathers were stretched out soaking up the sun and listening to their favourite cassette tapes. A RADIO SHOW was broadcasting live from the beach. Music was being played loudly and quizzes and competitions were being organised. I saw a fax machine being used to print out listeners answers to one of the competitions.
Some of the DJs were walking around the spectators, asking people to record a message and request their favourite record.
I got bored and walked up to the record shop. It was quiet apart from a few people listen to selected Compact Discs at one of the listening posts.
After I while I went to get changed for tennis.....
