Activity 1 - Activities Week

READ THE FOLLOWING CAREFULLY....

Pupils at a Computing and Sports Camp want to make a video of themselves on the go-karts.

They want to show this video to other groups at the Camp at the end of the day. All the pupils felt this was useful because they could look at all the mistakes they made and try to improve the next time they would try.

As part of the week, the group are making a newsletter about all the activities they took part in. Someone suggests that it might be possible to take some of the pictures from the video and put them into the newsletter.

Activity 2 - Question Time


	NOW ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS WHICH ARE ABOUT ACTIVITIES WEEK THAT YOU READ IN ACTIVITY 1

1. What device would the pupils need to make the video?

2.What do they need to make sure they have before they can show it to the other groups?

3. The action on the go-karts was so quick that they could not see all that had happened. How could the pupils get round this problem?

4. What additional piece of computer hardware would they need to transfer pictures from the video on to the newsletter on the computer.

5. Name two jobs where some of the workers might make videos.

6. Write down what they might use the videos for.
